Aspirin Tablets

Aspirin Tablets

Aspirin did not take tablet form until the late 1800’s.  An employee of the German chemical company, Bayer, extracted the chemical. Chemist Felix Hoffman was the first person to actually identify aspirin, and the Bayer chemical company now had patent to one of the most successful medicines ever invented.

A daily dose of aspirin in middle age could help ward off heart disease and cancer, scientists have said. The benefits of taking the tablets were found to far outweigh the side-effects in the over-45s.

Honestly, you’ll be amazed. Give it a try today from Boots. You’ll be glad you did.

Aspirin is also sometimes used to treat rheumatic fever (a serious condition that may develop after a strep throat infection and may cause swelling of the heart valves) and Kawasaki disease (an illness that may cause heart problems in children). Aspirin is also sometimes used to lower the risk of blood clots in patients who have artificial heart valves or certain other heart conditions and to prevent certain complications of pregnancy.
